The Obesity Medicine Pharmacology for the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Patient Assessment Based Certificate is a certificate of training program consisting of interactive learning modules and a remotely administered examination. The purpose of the program is to enhance the knowledge, competency, and professional performance of Advanced Practice Providers practicing in the specialty of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (MBS).

While the program is specifically designed for Advanced Practice Providers, all healthcare professionals involved in the care of patients with obesity and metabolic disease, including nurses, dietitians, and physicians, are welcome and encouraged to participate.

This course offers a focused, practical exploration of pharmacologic strategies for managing obesity in metabolic and bariatric surgery patients. Participants will:

Exam Eligibility

Certificate Completion
