The Advanced Metabolic and Bariatric Nutrition Assessment-Based Certificate is a certificate of training program consisting of interactive learning modules and a remotely administered examination. The purpose of the program is to enhance the knowledge, competency, and professional performance of Registered Dietitian Nutritionists practicing in the specialty of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (MBS).

This Assessment Based Certificate is designed for nutrition professionals seeking to deepen their expertise in the care of patients before and after metabolic and bariatric surgery (MBS). Participants will:

Exam Eligibility
All healthcare professionals are welcome to participate in the educational content and claim available education credits. However, only Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs) are eligible to sit for the certificate examination.
Certificate Completion
