Core Obesity Medicine CME for the 2028 exam pathway Beginning with the 2028 certification exam cycle, ABOM applicants must complete at least 45 Core Obesity Medicine CME credits as part of the 60-credit CME requirement. Core credits are offered by ABOM-approved Primary Educational Partners and mapped to the ABOM Content Outline.
ASMBS is developing a 60 hour credit, online and on-demand curriculum. Final credit totals, faculty, pricing and enrollment details will be announced when available.
