IH Executive Council – 2023 Candidate Information

There are two positions which will need to be filled – the IH Secretary and the IH President-Elect.

To most fairly address this, the IHECEC and the IH and Surgeon Nominating Committees have reviewed the options for the upcoming IH nominations; all have mutually agreed to have all candidates on the ballot for both positions.

IH members will vote for one candidate, and the candidate with the most votes will serve as IH President-Elect. The candidate with second most votes, will serve as IH Secretary.

Qualifications: Nominees for IH President-Elect & Secretary must currently be working in the specialty of metabolic and bariatric surgery for at least two (2) years and have effectively served on the Integrated Health Section Executive Council within the past five (5) years and have served for a minimum of 1 year (12 consecutive months) on the IH Executive Council.

Member-at-Large

Nominees for Members at Large must currently be working in the specialty of metabolic and bariatric surgery for at least two (2) years and have effectively served as a member of any Integrated Health Section committee within the past five (5) years.
