Integrated Health Leadership Council

The Integrated Health Leadership Council (IHLC) is responsible for directing the activities of the Integrated Health Section of membership within the ASMBS, including strategic planning and acting as representatives of their disciplines to the Board of Directors of ASMBS. The Council reports directly to the ASMBS Board of Directors and, in turn, guides the activities of the IH committees and initiatives. The primary goal of the IHLC is to cultivate a knowledgeable, skilled, and empowered membership inclusive of all integrated health specialties and increase the integrated health professional membership value.

The development and growth of the Integrated Health Section of the ASMBS is rooted in the leadership. The Integrated Health Section is a category of membership that represents, on average, 34-38% of ASMBS since its inception in 1991. We honor and recognize our past leaders for laying the foundation and serving as mentors to the present.
