BariNation Foundation

BariNation Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering individuals affected by obesity to access expert-guided education, community support, and the resources needed to pursue and sustain meaningful care.

Founded by patients, we live our mission through three core channels. The BariNation Podcast is an award-winning series featuring leading clinicians, researchers, and patient voices that brings credible obesity care conversations to listeners worldwide. The BariNation Community is a private, inclusive online membership platform hosting 80+ live virtual events monthly, led by bariatric-credentialed experts, with access to 2,000+ hours of on-demand educational content and peer connection spaces designed for every stage of the obesity treatment journey. Through active social education and advocacy, we amplify research-based, patient-forward messaging that reflects the full spectrum of obesity treatment, surgical, pharmacological, and combination care, meeting patients where they are and guiding them toward clinical care.

Centered around our four Pillars of Bariatric Success (Movement, Mindset, Metabolic Wellness, and Community), BariNation Foundation partners with ASMBS-certified practitioners and industry leaders to ensure patients are informed, supported, and connected to the care they need, when and where they need it.

Products & Services Offered

BariNation Foundation offers ASMBS members and industry partners meaningful opportunities to reach and educate patients through three proven channels. Clinicians and organizations can contribute to and be featured on our award-winning podcast, connecting their expertise with an engaged global audience of patients and practitioners navigating obesity treatment decisions. Through our private online membership community, partners can participate in or sponsor expert-led live events to reach motivated patients at every stage of their surgical and medical weight-loss journey. Our active social media platforms provide additional opportunities to amplify research-based, credible messaging on surgical, pharmacological, and combination care to a growing audience ready to act.

Our partnership opportunities support the BariNation Foundation’s mission to connect more patients to new and ongoing care, and to increase the reach and visibility of the practitioners and organizations that make that possible.
