This physician will join a team of 2 bariatric surgeons, 2 surgical fellows, 2 mid-level providers, certified bariatric nurses, dietitians, psychologists, exercise physiologist and support staff.

Other duties will include pre-operative and postoperative care of bariatric surgical patients in an outpatient setting, supervising a medical weight loss program, managing complex nutritional patients and implementation of best-practices in weight management. The physician will have the opportunity to develop a scholarly concentration in clinical trials and establish a bariatric medicine fellowship.

The qualified candidate should be BE/BC in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Specialization in endocrinology, prior experience in Bariatrics or certification in Obesity Medicine is desirable. Compensation package is competitive and includes a productivity incentive.

We have more than 2,000 active patients in the practice currently. The Center is located in a major metropolitan area with two different offices located within two Center of Excellence facilities where surgeries are performed, currently by one experienced bariatric surgeon.
