Meet the ASMBS Staff Team

A message from our Chief Executive Officer

At ASMBS, everything we do is in service of our members and the patients whose lives they change every day. Our staff is deeply committed to supporting your work, your leadership, and your voice in the fight to improve obesity care in this country. Whether advancing advocacy, streamlining operations, supporting scientific programming, or responding to real-time challenges, our team is here to ensure you can focus on what matters most: delivering transformative care and driving the field forward. We are grounded in three core values: People, Service, and Integrity.

People

We’re proud to support a dedicated staff team that works every day to elevate our members’ impact. We foster a culture that values collaboration, champions diverse perspectives, and inspires creativity—because that’s what it takes to solve complex problems and push boundaries.

Service

We measure our success by how well we serve you. Our goal is to meet the needs of ASMBS leadership, members, and partners with clarity, responsiveness, and purpose—always seeking smarter, more effective ways to deliver value.

Integrity

We lead with honesty and transparency, act with intention, and stand by our word. Integrity is the foundation of our trust with you, and we don’t take that lightly. The ASMBS staff is a talented and passionate team that works behind the scenes to power the mission and support the incredible work of our members. We’re proud to be your partners!
