Dr. Khorgami is a Bariatric surgeon at the University of Oklhaoma in Tulsa and serves as the Program Director for the general surgery program. He obtained his medical degree from Tehran University and completed a General Surgery residency at the University of Oklahoma–Tulsa. He has completed fellowships in Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery at the University of Miami and the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Khorgami is extensively published in general surgery and weight loss surgery. He serves as the associate program director for general surgery residency. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgery and the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, and serves as a member of the Clinical Issues and Guideline Committee of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
