Vadim Meytes, DO

Dr. Vadim Meytes performs bariatric and general surgeries at Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh, NY.

He is trained to offer minimally invasive hernia repair, gallbladder removal, acid reflux surgery, gastric bypass, sleeve surgery and more.

“Since early on in my surgical training, I recognized a growing need to be able to offer the highest level of care in the most minimally invasive approach for a variety of diseases,” he said. “I look forward to working in the Rhinebeck community."

Dr. Meytes completed a bariatric fellowship at New York University Langone Hospital in Brooklyn, where he also completed his general surgery residency in 2017.

He graduated from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine with a doctorate degree in osteopathy and Manhattan College with a bachelor’s degree in biology.

Dr. Meytes also speaks Russian.
