Matthew O. Hubbard, MD, is a Board Certified General Surgeon and is fellowship-trained in Advanced Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery. Dr. Hubbard's goal is to provide excellent surgical care using laparoscopic and robotic procedures for obesity, including gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, adjustable gastric banding and revision of prior bariatric surgery. He strives towards minimizing post-operative pain and getting patients back to their daily routines and jobs in as short a time as possible, and maximizing long-term weight loss through a dedication to continued post-operative care for years after surgery. Dr. Hubbard also specializes in all types of primary and recurrent abdominal wall and hiatal/paraesophageal hernias, both through open, laparoscopic, and robotic approaches. He also provides minimally invasive approaches for gallbladder disease, diseases of the stomach and foregut.
