Jennifer received her Bachelor’s Degree of Science from Eastern Michigan University where she completed a Coordinated Program in Dietetics. Jennifer gained experience as a clinical bariatric dietitian at Barix Clinics at Forest Health Medical Center, in Ypsilanti, MI. Where she educated patients about making food choices, eating behaviors and life changes necessary to living life after bariatric surgery. In 2022 after relocating to North Carolina, she joined the team at Chrysalis Center for Counseling and Eating Disorder Treatment to continue supporting individuals interested in the pursuit of bariatric surgery for treatment of various medical conditions. Her sessions may include pre & post-operative nutrition and lifestyle education essential for successful surgical recovery. Follow-up nutrition consultations are available and highly beneficial for any client moving forward at any stage after surgery. She can help clients identify and work to reduce disordered eating behaviors. Since surgery isn’t the answer for everyone, Jennifer’s hope is to provide nutrition support, tools, and education necessary for all clients focused on reaching personal goals and overcoming barriers preventing them from living the life they desire.
