Job Summary/Duties: The Section of General Surgery of the University of Cincinnati Department of Surgery is seeking a surgeon with a strong focus on bariatric surgery. This individual will assume a busy bariatric and general surgery practice within an MBSAQIP-accredited program. This position includes the opportunity to serve as Medical Director. Work duties will include care of patients through our weight loss program, education of residents and medical students, and administrative duties as assigned. There is no general surgery ED or trauma call as these are provided by our emergency general surgery service. Weekend call is every fourth for the practice. The weight loss center is well established and features a robust support system as well as opportunities for programmatic and personal growth.

Minimum Qualifications: Medical Degree (MD, DO) and state of Ohio license/eligible. Advanced training or commensurate experience in bariatric surgery. Board certified or Board eligible in general surgery.
