Research is an important aspect of providing quality improvement and outcomes for our patients, as is information reported in the mainstream media. By staying current, we are able to provide patients the best of care and the information they need to succeed in their weight loss.

Publications Related to Integrated Health

Many of our members have published articles in academic journals and the mainstream media as well as contributed to other resource publications.

Integrated Health members are welcome to submit citations for their published work. Members are limited to three citations for peer-reviewed journal articles and three citations for mainstream media publications. Requests should include the full citation (APA style) and the submitter’s full name and ASMBS Member ID. Please submit your citations.

For members who are involved or are planning to be involved in research related to bariatric surgery, please consider applying for the ASMBS Integrated Health Research Grant. The award is given to health care providers whose projects will provide valuable information to the field. Recipients are selected by Integrated Health Abstract Committee.
