What about this committee’s mission is the most important to you?
“Most important to our mission is debunking myths about obesity and metabolic surgery that hinder people with obesity from seeking the treatment they need.“
How has being part of this committee benefitted you professionally or even personally?
“Being part of this committee has allowed me to collaborate with and learn from amazing surgical and integrated health colleagues that I would not otherwise know. Committee involvement and leadership has also helped me to advance in my faculty appointment.“
What of this committee’s accomplishments are you most proud of?
“I am most proud of our committee creating an introductory metabolic surgery slide deck for all members to use in their practices to educate patients interested in metabolic surgery for obesity treatment. But join us to be part of what we have coming up next for social media!”
