I work between the University of Sunderland and the Bariatric Surgical Centre at Sunderland Royal Hospital as a Clinical Academic Researcher. My research interests are patient experiences, psychosocial aspects of bariatric surgery, quality of life issues, sexual and reproductive health of bariatric patients, and the role of social media and patient support.
