Wynnifred Hoodis, MS RDN CSOWM LD

Wynnifred Mercado Hoodis is currently a Senior Weight Management Dietetic Specialist at the Houston Methodist Center for Weight Loss & Bariatric Surgery found in Houston, Texas. Wynnifred is a board-certified specialist in obesity and weight management (CSOWM). Wynnifred started her dietetics career in New Jersey and has years of experience as a clinical dietitian in acute care and critical care working in a large hospital system, as well as, years of working in a bariatric surgery clinic. Wynnifred has worked as a Clinical Faculty Preceptor for Saint Elizabeth University in New Jersey and in this role, she was the primary instructor for dietetic intern cohorts in their hospital clinical rotations. Wynnifred is an active member of ASMBS and has held leadership positions with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and is currently an executive member of the Weight Management practice group.
