Dr Winnie Mathur is the Bariatric Program Director and Clinical Research Associate at Mohak Bariatrics and Robotics. She started her career as a Chief Physical therapist at a renowned hospital in Indore. Later on, her desire to pursue hospital management led her to a master's in hospital management from IMS, Indore University, one of the prominent hospital management schools in the country, which affiliates with Devi Ahilya University. During her master's at DAVV, she actively pursued the clinical project on obesity at Mohak and researched managing throughput at a high-volume obesity healthcare management system. She also did her externship from Mohak, helping the local team to develop system protocols for establishing the International Centre of Excellence in Bariatric surgery. Later she joined Mohak Bariatrics and Robotics as the Chief Bariatric Program Manager and has been working here for a decade. She completed her research study course at the Harward School of Public Health, Boston. Currently working as Bariatric Program Director- Dr Winnie has published extensively in the field of Bariatric Surgery. She is involved in all major research projects at Mohak. She also heads the data management dept by monitoring the system and the team responsible for data & statistical analysis with results. She has been instrumental in developing the team for research analysis, medical paper writing and preparing presentations. She has good clinical experience in Handling Pre-op and Post Op patient care management. Along with her team of nutritionists and physiotherapists- she heads the continued Post-operative patient care. Dr Winnie Mathur has been awarded with the IFSO SCHOLARSHIP AWARD in the year 2019 for her outstanding contribution in the field of Bariatric Surgery
