William Turton, MD

Dr. Turton is a Georgia native and graduated from Georgia Southwestern College in 1984. He then completed medical school(1988) and residency(1993) at the Medical college of Georgia in Augusta . Dr Turton moved to LaGrange, GA in 2007 and began the bariatric surgery program the following year. Dr. Turton has completed over 2000 bariatric surgeries and serves as the medical director for bariatric surgery. He led the program to become a Center of Excellence.

Dr. Turton relocated to Tifton in August 2022.
