Trynisha holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Aspen University, where she was awarded the Magna Cum Laude in 2023. She joined the OU Health Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Clinic Team in June 2024. She has been an employee of OU Health since 2008, working in a variety of roles. Each of these roles played a part in her love for patient care and her passion for evidence-based process improvement. As the Bariatric Program Manager, she enjoys collaborating with the multidisciplinary team, helping to ensure patients are educated, receive quality care, and have the best possible outcomes. Believing that it is her responsibility to advocate for safe patient care, she enjoys being a liaison between the bariatric clinic team, the patient, and the inpatient staff. Trynisha is also a bariatric patient herself. She will admit it was one of the hardest things she’s had to do; however, she knows the benefits of health were indeed worth it. Trynisha enjoys utilizing and sharing her knowledge and experience to help others achieve their goals in their bariatric journey.
