Thomas Martin, MD

Dr. Thomas Martin is a board-certified General and Bariatric Surgeon and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Martin earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. He completed his general surgery residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and completed his bariatric surgery fellowship at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. Dr. Martin’s clinical interests are performing laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomies, laparoscopic roux-en-Y gastric bypasses, and upper endoscopy as well as laparoscopic anti-reflux surgery, minimally invasive herniorraphy, abdominal wall reconstruction, and minimally invasive general surgery.
