Sue Benson-Davies, PhD DCN MPH RDN LN FAND

Dr. Sue Benson-Davies is a Clinical Assistant Professor with the University of South Dakota, Sanford School of Medicine, Sioux Falls, SD. Dr. Benson-Davies has extensive experience in academia, a lead evidence analyst and has co-authored several guideline/recommendation and position papers for ASMBS and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She continues a leadership role in metabolic and bariatric surgery nutrition research, program development and publication. Dr. Benson-Davies completed a Clinical Research Management sabbatical at the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD. She finished her PhD in Nutritional Sciences at South Dakota State University, Brookings SD; Doctor of Clinical Nutrition from the University of Medicine & Dentistry, Newark NJ and Masters of Public Health, University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, MN.
