Steven Reyes, EdD

Offers expertise in the design and implementation of programs facilitating behavior change, post-surgical adjustment issues after surgical weight loss including body image, emotional eating, and relational adjustment. Dr. Reyes conducts pre-operative psychological evaluation for people considering surgical weight loss at multiple Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence (COE) programs. Dr. Reyes routinely speaks about all psychosocial adjustment issues on the national stage. Dr. Reyes' research includes a phenomenological study of the post-surgical adjustment issues with weight loss surgery patients between 1 and 2 years post-op. As a clinician, he has worked with thousands of people striving to achieve and maintain their health long-term. His services include pre and post surgical education for weight loss surgery patients.
