Shani Belgrave-Heath, MD FACS FASMBS

Shani Belgrave-Heath, MD, FACS, FASMBS, earned her medical degree from the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She completed her residency in General Surgery at the University of Maryland and her fellowship in Minimally Invasive Foregut and Bariatric Surgery at the University of Washington. She received her undergraduate degree from Brown University and graduated with honors. Dr. Belgrave is board certified with the American Board of Surgery. She specializes in the management and treatment of obesity. Dr. Belgrave is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, and the Atlanta Medical Association. She is recognized by the Atlanta Medical Association as the recipient of the 2025 Young Physician of the Year Award. Dr. Belgrave is also recognized as a 2025 Atlanta Magazine Top Doctor.
