Seth Kipnis, MD FACS FASMBS

Dr. Seth M. Kipnis is a minimally invasive gastrointestinal surgeon and bariatric surgeon, fellowship trained in advanced laparoscopy and endoscopy, and a board certified general surgeon. He is currently the Director of Bariatric and Robotic Surgery at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, a Bariatric Center of Excellence. Dr. Kipnis completed a minimally invasive surgery and bariatric fellowship while at Penn State. Dr. Kipnis is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a member of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, American Society of Bariatric Surgeons, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American College of Surgeons. He is a Core Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. As part of the teaching faculty at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, he actively instructs both residents and medical students on a daily basis.
