Sergey Terushkin, MD FACS DABOM DABS - FPMBS FASMBS

Dr. Sergey Terushkin is a board-certified general and bariatric surgeon based in Old Bridge, New Jersey. He earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, completed his internship at Northwell–LIJ Health System, and his residency at Maimonides Medical Center. Dr. Terushkin specializes in robotic general and bariatric surgery and completed a Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Florida. He combines state-of-the-art technology with a personalized approach to deliver the best possible outcomes for each patient. His most commonly performed procedures include sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, gallbladder surgery, hernia repair, and abdominal wall reconstruction. An active member of the American College of Surgeons and the Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, Dr. Terushkin regularly attends professional meetings to stay at the forefront of surgical advancements. He is also active in the community, participating in educational seminars and diabetes and obesity awareness walks. Outside of his practice, Dr. Terushkin enjoys fishing and skiing. He is fluent in Russian and conversational in Spanish.
