Ryan Horsley, DO FACOS FASMBS

Dr. Ryan D Horsley attended medical school at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM). He then traveled to Pennsylvania where he completed his surgical training and fellowship in MIS & Bariatric Surgery at Geisinger under the mentorship of Dr. Anthony Petrick. Upon completion of his training he joined Geisinger as a staff Bariatric Surgeon expanding the Geisinger program up north in Scanton at Geisinger Community Medical Center (GCMC) Since starting the program at GCMC in August of 2016, it has continued to grow. It now not only a MBSAQIP Accredited center, but also a Blue Distinction Center for Bariatric Surgery and an Aetna Institute of Quality. Over 1000 Bariatric surgery procedures have been preformed at GCMC since 2016, under the direction of Dr. Horsley
