After graduating with honors from medical school at UCD in Dublin, Ireland, I worked as an intern and surgical senior house officer at St. Vincent's University Hospital Dublin for two years prior to taking up a preliminary general surgery residency position at MGH in Boston. I completed my general surgery residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2018 and a fellowship in bariatric and foregut surgery at Geisinger Medical Center in 2019. I worked as a locum general surgeon at University Hospital Limerick after fellowship for 2 years and then joined a private practice in Kansas City prior to commencing my current position at UnityPoint Clinic in Sioux City as a bariatric and general surgeon. I am passionate about providing excellent weight loss and metabolic solutions as well as minimally invasive general surgery with advanced laparoscopic and robotic technology.
