I graduated with honors from University College Dublin, Ireland in 2011. I worked as an intern and surgical senior house officer at St. Vincent's University Hospital, Dublin for two years prior to taking up a prelim general surgery residency position at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. I completed my general surgery residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2018 followed by a fellowship in bariatric and foregut surgery at Geisinger Medical Center in 2019. I previously was employed as a locum general surgeon at University Hospital Limerick after fellowship for 2 years and then joined a private bariatric practice in Kansas City for 2.5 years. prior to commencing my current position at Methodist Jennie Edmundson, I was employed as a general and acute care surgeon at UnityPoint Clinic in Sioux City. I am passionate about providing durable, high-quality weight loss and metabolic solutions as well as minimally invasive general surgery with advanced laparoscopic and robotic technology.
