Dr. Ramin Roohipour is a board certified general surgeon who is fellowship trained in Minimally Invasive, Metabolic (Bariatric) u0026 Endocrine Surgery. He graduated from medical school in 1996 and after passing all qualification exams in United States embarked on the residency in surgery at Columbia University College of Physicians u0026 Surgeons at Harlem Hospital Center. rnDue to his great interest in gastrointestinal surgery, Dr. Roohipour spend one year as a clinical research fellow on the transplant service at University of Miami, one year on the colorectal rnservice at Cleveland Clinic Florida and one year of research on the Colorectal Oncologic Surgery at Memorial Sloanu2013Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Dr. Roohipour also completed a fellowship in Advance Laparoscopy, Bariatric u0026 Endocrine surgery at Icahn (Mount Sinai) School of Medicine.rnDr. Roohipour is board-certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of American College of Surgeons.
