About the Provider

I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Food Science (Dietetics concentration) from Middle Tennessee State University in 2014. Then, I moved back home to East Tennesee and completed my Master of Science degree in Public Health Nutrition and dietetic internship at UT-Knoxville in 2016. I worked as a Morrison dietitian at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center for 5 years as the outpatient dietitian for the hospital and bariatric dietitian for the Fort Sanders program. I became a certified specialist in Obesity and Weight Management through CDR in July 2020 and was the first in the Knoxville area to achieve this credential. I was one of the Tennessee Recognized Young Dietitians of the Year 2021 from The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Since September 2021, I have been the bariatric dietitian for the University Bariatric Center at UT Medical Center here in Knoxville.
