R. Richard Rasmussen, MD FACS

I attended Brigham Young University for my undergraduate degree. This was followed by the Univeristy of Utah School of Medicine for my medical degree. My residency in general surgery was completed at the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency.

I have been doing bariatric surgery since 2009. I enjoy helping patients change their lives. It is gratifying to me when patients return after losing a substantial amount of weight and share their successes and how happy they are with their new life.
