Hello, my name is Priscilla. I am a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. As a credentialed nutritionist and psychotherapist, I specialize in the psychological and nutritional aspects of bariatric surgery. I hold an MS in Clinical Psychology and an MS in Applied Nutrition. I am currently pursuing board certification through the Board for Certification of Nutrition Specialists (BCNS), which enables me to provide comprehensive, integrated support to my patients. I provide pre-surgical bariatric psychological evaluations, as well as counseling and therapeutic support before and after surgery. I offer in-person services for local patients, along with statewide telehealth in Arizona, California, Idaho, Montana, and Oregon. Weight loss surgery is a transformative procedure that can lead to substantial weight loss and improved overall health. However, it is important to recognize that this journey involves more than physical changes alone; psychological readiness plays a critical role in surgical success and long-term weight management. If you have any questions or would like to learn more, please feel free to reach out through my website, or contact me by phone call or text.
