I am a board-certified general surgeon with fellowship training in minimally invasive bariatric surgery. I offer a full complement of ASMBS-endorsed stapled operations (e.g. sleeve gastrectomy, Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, BPD-DS/SADI-S/SIPS. I exclusively perform robotic-assisted surgeries and utilize Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols. This approach significantly minimizes post-operative discomfort, accelerates recovery, and enables patients to return to their daily activities and work much faster. I also offer the full range of revisional bariatric surgery, a distinct and complex area within the field of bariatric surgery. Patients who experience complications or less-than-ideal outcomes after bariatric surgery often face difficulty finding a surgeon who is both willing and qualified to help. I am committed to thoroughly evaluating and providing tailored recommendations for these patients. While not all cases require revisional surgery, determining the most appropriate path forward requires a comprehensive and thoughtful assessment. This process should not only address common issues, but also delve into subtleties that are sometimes overlooked, which ensures the best possible outcome for the patient. I also perform a high volume of non-bariatric, foregut surgery for benign foregut pathology, including hiatal/paraesophagal hernias and GERD. Moreover, I perform surgery for gastrointestinal motility disorders, including achalasia and gastroparesis.
