I was raised in Massachusetts but have roots throughout the US. My medical career has taken me to Loyola-Chicago for medical school, Tulane for residency, and St. Luke's in Allentown, PA for minimally invasive & bariatric fellowship under Drs Maher El Chaar and Leonardo Claros. I began my appointment as a bariatric and general surgeon at the Surgical Clinic of Louisiana in September, 2018, serving the greater New Orleans area. We are an MBSAQIP-accredited site performing upwards of 200 bariatric surgeries a year including sleeve, gastric bypass, duodenal switch, as well as revisional surgeries. I also perform hernia repairs and other general surgeries amenable to minimally invasive approaches.
