The thing I love most about my job is seeing patients months to years after their surgeries and seeing the positive impact on their lives. Some of my patients have taken trips they never would have taken before because they were limited by their mobility or their endurance. Some go on to have children when before surgery they were having trouble getting pregnant. Some go on to get organ transplants they couldn't get before because the transplant surgery would have been too risky. Every patient has their own individual story and motivation and I can't express how much it means to me to help my patients achieve each of their own individual goals.
