Dr Naik has been in private practice over 20 years. Since that time, he has been a local leader in innovation and promoting quality and education for bariatric population. His philosophy is geared heavily towards lifestyle change with using surgery as a complement to long-term results, and better resolution of associated diseases. Dr Naik is the Director of Metabolic Surgery at Dignity Health Care Bakersfield and has received certification for a Bariatric Center for Excellence. Dr Naik is proficient in Laparoscopic and Robotic surgery and performs Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy, Gastric Bypass, and Adjustable Gastric Banding, with revisions performed on a case by case basis.
