Naveen Ballem, MD

I am dual fellowship trained, both in Bariatric surgery from the University of Alabama and as Clinical Scholar in Endocrine Surgery from the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. I am currently the Director of Bariatric surgery at both Clara Maass Medical Center, an affiliate of the RWJBarnabas Health system in Belleville NJ, as well as Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ. I also serve as the Chief Quality Officer at Clara Maass, and am currently enrolled at Harvard University for a Masters in Healthcare Management at the Chan School in Boston. My interests include advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery. I have performed thousands of bariatric and general surgery procedures and have a strong interest in research and education.
