Muhammad Feteiha, MD

Dr. Muhammad Feteiha is a leading bariatric and general surgeon in New Jersey. Since 2001, Dr. Feteiha has pioneered Minimally Invasive Surgery, not only at Advanced Surgical Associates, but for the region. He was among the first to perform advanced minimally invasive colon surgery, hernia surgery, and weight loss surgery. In 2003, Dr. Feteiha, started the Bariatric Surgery Program at Overlook and achieved Overlook’s First Center of Excellence in Bariatric Surgery accreditation. Dr. Feteiha was previously the Director of Minimally Invasive Surgery, Chairman of the Surgical Care Review Committee, a Medical Staff Officer, and actively involved in Surgical Resident and Medical Student education at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ. Dr. Feteiha is now currently the Chairman of Surgery at Overlook Medical Center. “Our goal is to treat every patient as a family member.” Dr. Feteiha, an avid triathlete, continually encourages his patients to maintain a healthy lifestyle be eating right and being physically active. Dr. Feteiha leads by example as he recently completed a full Ironman Triathlon.
