Michael Simonson, MD

I am a general surgeon focusing on bariatric surgery in Western Nebraska. I understand the need and benefit of these procedures in my community in a location that is accessible to the residents of the area. We have worked extensively to translate that need into a program that serves our region by becoming a Accredited Center of the ASMBS and a Blue Distinction Bariatric Center. We have added robotics to our program to allow our patients most procedures and techniques that they might be offered in a metro hospital. We take great pride in the program and it brings our team happiness to provide these vital services to our community. Weight loss surgery and the positive effects it allows my patients is one of the great joys of my practice.
