I am a fellowship trained minimally invasive and bariatric surgeon with over 10 years of clinical experience focusing of minimal access general and bariatric surgery. My clinical practice and interests focuses on multidisciplinary surgical care of patients with severe obesity (including primary and revisional bariatric procedures) and general basic and advanced minimally invasive surgery, including surgical management of gastroparesis, reflux, benign adrenal disorders and abdominal wall hernias. My clinical practice incorporates a spectrum of minimal access techniques, including laparoscopy and robotics. My clinical practices have involved provide surgical care to a diverse group of patient cohorts. I am a dedicated surgical educator who has been involved in the surgical education of a diverse group of trainees, including surgical residents, medical and physician assistant students. My scholarly interests include bariatric surgical clinical outcomes and translational sciences, particularly focusing on disparities in outcome.
