Melissa is passionate about dispelling obesity myths, eliminating weight bias, and educating both patients and the public on obesity as a chronic disease. Her comprehensive approach addresses all components of obesity treatment pharmacologic therapy, surgical options, behavioral health, nutrition, sleep, and movement.
