Dr. Alkhaled is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University. She received her MD from Damascus University School of Medicine. She then moved to Cleveland to complete her training in pediatrics, pediatric endocrinology and most recently obesity medicine fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Foundation. She is American board certified in pediatrics, pediatric endocrinology, and obesity medicine. In addition to her clinical role as a Pediatric endocrinologist, pediatric and adult obesity medicine specialist, she serves on the item writing committee for the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Her clinical and research interests include management of childhood obesity and its complications in addition to evaluation and management of post-bariatric surgery hypoglycemia.
