About the Provider

I am a fellowship-trained in Minimally Invasive and Bariatric surgeon currently practicing in South Florida. I completed my fellowship training at Harvard University Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center under the direction of Dr. Daniel B. Jones in 2008. I moved to Miami in 2019 after being in practice in Massachusetts for over a decade. My general interests include bariatric surgery and general surgery using minimally invasive and robotic techniques. I am a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery. I have also been actively involved in the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) and serve on several SAGES committees. I have also been involved with medical student and surgical residency education. I held appointments as Instructor in Surgery for Harvard Medical School and most recently as Assistant Clinical Professor, Surgery for Tufts University School of Medicine.
