Latonya Fore-Williams is a Nurse Practitioner with board certifications in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care and Obesity Medicine. She is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. She earned her undergraduate degree (2005) and graduate degree (2014) from Ursuline College. She also earned a doctor of nursing practice in 2022 from Kent State University. Dr. Fore-Williams is the founder of Forward Weight and Wellness, a weight management practice focused on personalized and comprehensive obesity treatment. Previously, she served as a Senior Nurse Practitioner at University Hospitals of Cleveland in the Division of Bariatric Surgery and Comprehensive Weight Management for nine years. During those nine years, she pioneered the comprehensive medical weight management program. Her specific clinical interests are in obesity management, prevention, and reversal, and other conditions of insulin resistance such as metabolic syndrome, pre-diabetes, overweight, fatty liver disease, sleep apnea, and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). She also has interests in minority health, which includes management of weight in pregnancy and overall wellness. She lives in Cleveland with her husband, three children, and two cats. She loves volunteering, walking in the MetroParks, traveling, and line dancing.
