Kenneth Jones, MD FACS FASMBS

Dr. Kenneth Bruce Jones has been practicing general surgery and surgical endoscopy since 1984 and bariatric surgery since 1989. His entire career has been in Jonesboro Arkansas where he is the Director of the MBSAQIP Accredited Bariatric Surgery Program at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. He performs primary and revisional bariatric surgery, as well as, caring for bariatric surgery emergency problems. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a fellow of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, and a member of the Society of Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons. He is certified in surgery by the American Board of Surgery with Focused Practice Designation in Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. During his career he has held numerous hospital board and medical staff officer positions and positions in the Arkansas chapter of American College of Surgeons. Dr. Jones spends his free time with family, surgical mission trips, and being an avid outdoorsman.
