Karen E. Gibbs, MD, FACS, FASMBS is a Board Certified General Surgeon and is fellowship-trained in Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery. She is also a Diplomat of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Dr. Gibbs serves as the Chair of Surgery at Yale New Haven Health Bridgeport Hospital. Dr. Gibbs is quite passionate about excellence in surgical care and specializes in laparoscopic general, bariatric, foregut and endocrine procedures.
