Dr. Jun Levine is the Chief of Bariatrics and Minimally Invadive Surgery specializing in robotic and laparoscopic surgery, gastric bypass, gastric band, sleeve gastrectomy and revisions. In addition to Bariatric Surgery, she is highly skilled in minimally invasive surgery (MIS), with a special concentration on hernias of all types, gallbladder disease, appendix diseases, resection of intestines and treatments for acid reflux with an emphasis on robotics. Dr. Levine is also an accomplished researcher, responsible for several publications, abstracts and presentations on minimally invasive bariatric surgery. Dr. Levine attended the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, where she received her medical degree. Dr. Jun Levine completed her surgical fellowship at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City. Jun Levine, MD is board certified in General Surgery. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgery (FACS) and is an active member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) and Fellow of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS).
