Jay Snow, MD

Dr. Jay Michael Snow, MD is a board-certified bariatric and general surgeon with more than 15 years of experience and over 11,000 patients treated. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS). Dr. Snow earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine and completed his general surgery residency at the University of Oklahoma. He then completed a fellowship at the Minnesota Institute for Minimally Invasive Surgery — the only fellowship in the country triple-accredited in minimally invasive surgery, bariatrics, and flexible endosurgery. He serves as Medical Director of the Bariatric Program at Mercy Hospital Jefferson and leads St. Louis Bariatrics, a physician-supervised weight loss practice offering gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, LAP-BAND revision, gastric balloon, and a medical weight loss program using FDA-approved GLP-1 medications including Wegovy and Zepbound.
