Dr. Stetler was raised in Atlanta. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Vanderbilt University in 2005, he attended Wake Forest University School of Medicine, where he received his MD in 2009. He completed his general surgery residency and minimally invasive surgery fellowship at Emory, which focused on advanced laparoscopic/robotic and bariatric techniques
