I am a third generation surgeon in Michigan. Attended Grosse Ile high school, Grand Haven high school, Hope College, and Wayne State Medical School. Surgery residency and critical care fellowship in Grand Rapids Michigan. Married to Susan with four children Hunter, Jack, Nate, and Hayden. I am working at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids and have performed thousands of Bariatric Surgeries of all types. I am the co-inventor of The Full Sence Bariatric Device with my partner Randy Baker.
